Week 44 (March 20, 2017)
Okay so this week was pretty boring. Had divisions and did
some other stuff, but nothing really interesting. Until Sunday. Its a great
story, and my companion tells it better than I do. So here it is.
El Puño Loco Hamblin, El Terror de los Perros
So it was a Sunday afternoon, we had been without water for
3 days, and were out looking for the yellow house. (My comp had an obsession
with a yellow house that we knocked on the door once and told us to come back
later because they were all drunk.) So we get to the yellow house, and the
junior comp, being more brave, steps up a little closer to the porch and yells
"buenas." That was when we saw the huge pit-bull laying down on the
porch. We didn't think anything of it because it hadn't even stood up. So we
continued yelling. Then another pit-bull came out from behind the wall. So now
we have two huge pit-bulls and two terrified missionaries. The second pit-bull
that came out was really brave and really angry. The first one went for my comp
and the more brave one came at me. So we are just pooping our pants and walking
backwards and these dogs just keep getting closer. The one coming at me is like
5 feet away and just angry as could be. Then he came at me. He lunged at me,
trying to bite around my waist area. So I did what came natural and punched that
dog as hard as I could right in its face. It was probably the craziest thing I
have done in my life. The dog didn't take it very well, because it whimpered
twice and then backed off. As well as the dog coming after my comp took a few
steps back. I just looked at my comp and was like"WE NEED TO FREAKING GET
OUT OF HERE!!" So we start to back away a lot faster now, then a Rottweiler
comes out, and he wasn't happy either, but he didn't know that I was packing a
nice knuckle sandwich so that dog is freaking out at us, and my comp and I start
basically running backwards until we got far enough away to start laughing and
saying thanks to god that neither of us just died!! It was a crazy story!! I
PUNCHED A PIT-BULL IN THE FACE!!!!
So yeah that was the highlight of the week. Me and my comp
haven't stopped talking about it haha!!! He tells everyone about it and we both
laugh so hard!!
SO that's the story of El Puño Loco Hamblin, El Terror de los
Perros.
Or crazy fist Hamblin, the terror of dogs.
Love you all. Miss you all.
